日本人の名前は、英語ネイティブには発音しにくい音もあります。早く名前を覚えてもらうために、英語の名前にありそうな発音しやすいニックネームを持ち、紹介するときに"Call me〜"と言えるとよいでしょう。主な例としては以下のようなものがあります。

キョウコ→ココ
ヒロコ、ヒロミ、ヒロシ(など「ヒロ」が付く名前)→ヒロ
